Diana Gomez: JOY

Opening 5th of March 2025 with a reception from 6-8pm.

In this striking collection, photographer Diana Gomez transforms her lived experiences into vibrant portraits that pulse with unbridled joy and defiant independence. Through her lens, models become avatars of her own journey, each image a testament to freedom discovered and confidence claimed.

Gomez's signature use of bold colour amplifies the emotional resonance of each piece, creating a visual autobiography that celebrates life's most exuberant moments. These limited edition prints capture fleeting instances of pure joie de vivre, where personal narrative intertwines with universal themes of liberation and self-discovery.

What emerges is more than documentation – it's a technicolour meditation on the power of choosing joy, breaking free, and embracing life's full spectrum. Each subject channels Gomez's spirit while adding their own dimension to this multilayered exploration of freedom and identity.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and based between the UK and US, Diana has established herself as a leading figure in contemporary photography over the past 20 years. Her work, influenced by cinema, music, and the arts, captures subjects with an optimistic and empowering perspective. Beyond her commercial work, Diana is actively involved in philanthropic projects, including work with the United Nations, The Art of Elysium, Crisis, and various charitable organizations supporting women and children's education.
